Materials
- PVC – Poly Vinyl Chloride
- Utility PS – Polystyrene Opaque or Minimal Color Choice

Common Types of Thermoform Packaging
- Face Seal Blisters: PVC or PET formed cavities designed to attach to the front of a printed card
- Trapped Blisters: PVC or PET formed cavities that are trapped between folded or two piece paperboard.
- Clamshells: Thermoformed package that sandwiches the product between two formed sides; usually holds a printed card inside with product, two-piece, hinged and tri-fold.
- Formed Trays: Most often used for internal packaging and product presentation but this term can also apply to POP trays that hold product on counter tops and shelves.
